Here is the list of folders containing files that can be advantageous to save. If you does not save others then this will do enough.
- SMS : Revenue SSH ( Guide ) in the folder / private / var / mobile / Library / SMS and save all the files inside.
- Call History : Revenue SSH folder / private / var / mobile / Library / CallHistory call_history.db and save the file.
- Password Safari (cookie) : Cookies.plist Save the file in / private / var / mobile / Library / Cookies.
- Contact : Revenue SSH folder / private / var / mobile / Library / AddressBook and save files AddressBook.sqlitedb (which will be used for contacts) and AddressBookImages.sqlitedb (which will be used to store the images assigned to contacts). Once restored, simply overwrite the existing files with these.
- Private Folder / var / mobile / Library / you can save the contents of everything that interests you maintain, as Mail, Calendar, etc.. Just save all the contents of folders, and then replace it once restored. The system settings are in the folder / private / var / mobile / Library / Preferences.
- If you want to save your pictures on your iPhone camera roll (you can do it from My Computer or iPhoto), you can make a backup of the folder / private/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100APPLE /.
- / Private / var / mobile / Library / YouTube - File relative to the YouTube video player
- / Private / var / mobile / Library / Calendar - calendar data
- / Private / var / mobile / Library / Notes - Notes
- / Private / var / mobile / Library / Mail - the Mail application on file
- / Private / var / mobile / Library / Installer / TrustedSources.plist and PackageSources.plist - Sources installer personal
- / Private / var / mobile / Library / CallHistory - List of calls made / received / missed
- / Private / var / mobile / Library / SummerBoard / Themes - SummerBoard Themes
- / Private / var / mobile / Library / MxTube - Files relating to MxTube
- / Private / var / mobile / Media / MxTube - Videos downloaded from MxTube
- / Private / var / mobile / Media / Dcim - Pictures taken on iPhone
- There are obviously many other folders to copy, for different applications on our iPhone at which point everyone is obliged to create a backup of what it deems necessary. In any case, almost all files are in / private / var / mobile / Library or alternatively in / private / var / mobile / Media.
- Once you copy these folders on the iPhone soon restored, simply change the file permissions to "777", so that the terminal recognizes them as originals: to change the permissions simply select the folder, right click and go to Properties .
- Finally, if you have firmware 1.1.2 or 1.1.1 the list of folders will be in / private / var / root / Library /
